Duties

Resource management and supervisory tasks including, but not limited to:

a. Planning and organization of all infrastructure works for a residential development.


These include but are not limited to:-

• i. Roads and building platforms
• ii. Masonry retaining structures and stormwater channels
• iii. Main electricity supply
• iv. Main plumbing and STP
• v. Buildings


• b. Planning and organizing daily operations and communicating with stakeholders.
• c. Execution of the project as per contract and construction documents ensuring that all matters are up to date (insurances, response to instructions, etc.)
• d. Project monitoring and evaluation ensuring execution according to the desired project quality.
• e. Report to the Project Director and Company Board.


 

Requirements

Qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

• a. At least 10 to 15 years’ site Project Management experience working in infrastructure with reference to sites in Africa.
• b. Knowledge in Primavera Project Management Software
• c. Team player, strong time management and organization skills
• d. Review of contract particulars and ensuring that all matters are up to date (insurances, response to instructions, etc.).
• e. Ready to relocate to Rwanda immediately (at least 1 years with extension as necessary)

• Preparation of Bills of Quantities and other contract administration documents
• Preparation of payment applications
• Re-measurement of ongoing works on site
• Review of contract particulars and ensuring that all matters are up to date (insurances, response to instructions, etc.)


 

Requirements

• Registration with BORAQS
• 3 to 5 years post-graduation experience
• Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software programs
• Team player, strong time management and organization skills
• Ready to relocate to Rwanda from 3rd January 2023 for the duration of the project (at least 2 years with extension as necessary)
